still is today.  Nelson Mandela is very famous for working to get rid of the apartheid.
For winning the Nobel Peace Prize. During his lifetime Nelson Mandela got sent to

Mahatma Gandhi

Mahatma Gandhi

This term our class has been learning about a very famous person called Mahatma
Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi grew up in Porbandar. Mahatma Gandhi wasn’t Gandhi’s real name. Mahatma Gandhi was arrested several times.

Firstly, Mahatma Gandhi was born in Porbandar in India. He was born on October 2,
1869. It was tradition from where he was from that his parents arranged a marriage for
him when he was 13. When Mahatma Gandhi was 19 he traveled to England to study
how to be barrister which is a type of lawyer. But he wasn’t very successful. So he
joined Indian law firm and moved to South Africa where he lived for 20 years.

Secondly, Mahatma Gandhi wasn’t actually his real name. Gandhi’s real name was
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. But people gave him the name Mahatma which means
a person regarded with love and respect or great soul. He was given that name because
he led the nonviolent protest for India’s Independence from the British Empire.

Thirdly, Mahatma Gandhi was put in jail several times for leading protest against the
British Empire. Mahatma Gandhi spent six years in prison. But the British Government
would have to release him eventually because the Indian people had grown to love
Gandhi. They were also scared about what would happen if they let Gandhi die. One
of Gandhi’s most successful protest was the salt one. Where Gandhi decided to walk
241 miles to the sea to make his own salt.

Finally, Mahatma Gandhi was and still is a very important and famous person today
even though he died so long ago. Mahatma Gandhi grew up in Porbandar. Mahatma
wasn’t actually Gandhi’s first name. During Gandhi’s life he was arrested several times
and spent six years in prison. I personally think that Mahatma Gandhi was a very
important person.

The Guardian Of The Blaketown Beach

The Guardian Of The
Blaketown Beach

The guardian of the Blaketown Beach brings all the dead bodies that haven’t been found in to
his cave and he messily eats them for protein. He also causes the rips in the grey sea and he
drags the bodies into the ocean roughly. One of the days he furiously dragged a body and it was
a crash test dummy and the big taniwha got really mad. His green skin turned red and he was
furious so he harshly attacked some big boats to get some people's bodies because he was
very hungry.

If you think he could just eat fish there is something called a food chain. He slowly crawled along
the wet stones and the hard driftwood then he walked around Blaketown at night and there
were people partying at a big house. He went there and he camouflaged into the very dark
night so no one could see him outside. He stalked them for ages for the right moment to attack
the teenagers.

Then the moment came.  He went to attack and he dragged the bodies into the grey ocean and
ate all of them. The Taniwha has never been found by a human. The popo tried finding who or
what
killed the people at the crazy party.

The green taniwha was so happy that he had some meaty food but then he got hungry a year
later and so went back for more people. He went to the local rugby game, beat up everyone for
food and took them back to his very dark cave.

Ten years later he was hungry for some more people. So he went to eat some more people to
eat. Surprisingly there was a fake party at the same house but little did the taniwha know the
Police had set up a net trap to catch the taniwha.

When the green  taniwha furiously walked into the house to kill some people, he walked into
the house and got trapped. The cops got an alert to go to the house that the party was at 10
years ago and they arrived at the house and caught the taniwha. Then the taniwha went to jail
and ate all the inmates and then he went to Christchurch Men’s Prison. Then no surprise he ate
all the inmates there to and then he got ship to The United States Penitentiary, Administrative
Maximum Facility then he ate all the inmates there to. Then he went back to Blaketown and
went to his cave and slowly died from eating to much people.
